		<description>our artists who work ta moko are maori, tattooing maori, so they&#039;re not doing anything offensive there. we have one pakeha who also does the maori style but he is a kirituhi artist, who can be comissioned to do ta moko but he would need the full korero write up detailed to him not try and work it up on his own knowledge.
with our samoan works our artist does not try to work a traditional manner, he tells his clients he has a contemporary style and if anyone asks to do a pe&#039;a (for example) then he says that he cannot do this and they must get this done in the traditional manner as to not offend anyone nor bring on bad omens.
we take all of our cultural work very seriously</description>

It is really disrespectful to their culture its kind of like a white guy wearing black face. But there are some symbols and designs that can be used without offense.</description>
